Through a partnership with the Mayor's Youth Employment and Education Program, Ultimate Impact hired Junior Coaches (13 and 14 years old) over the summer to help lead training sessions, provide mentorship to younger program participants, and work on skills-based projects such as Izzy’s video above.  As part of their experience, Ultimate Impact took the group on tours of Twitter, Facebook/Instagram, and Google Robotics.  They're already excited to come back and help next summer!

Junior Coach Taleni "T" shares his thoughts in a blog post on his first job this summer and things he's learned thus far playing ultimate.

We took an Ultimate Impact team to adult NorCal Sectionals in Davis on October 9th and 10th. The team was a combination of youth from the program plus friends. For the youth (12, 13, and 14 years old), it was an amazing experience and they learned so much in two short days. It was awesome seeing them with smiles on their faces on and off the field.  Izzy, one of the youth, wrote about his experience. 

Ultimate Impact took a group of program participants to Bay Area Disc's SF youth camp for 5 days of ultimate.  It was great to see our kids joking around, having fun, and making new friends from around the city.
